Observing Night - CANCELLED DUE TO EXTREME WIND CHILL

3/30/2019 7:15 PM

For the health and safety of our guests and members, we feel it is wise to CANCEL tonight's observing session. Due to sustained winds near 20 mph and Gusts of 30 mph combined with low temperature producing wind chills at or below 30.

Everyone is invited to join us at our observatory for the opportunity to look through different types of telescopes and enjoy a variety of celestial objects. There will be members available to provide guidance from basic constellation spotting to all aspects of the universe. Our observatory features a 14 inch telescope and a classroom. We also have about 1 acre of open ground for setting up your own equipment. A donation of $ 2.00 per person is appreciated. Families are welcome but children MUST be supervised.

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, please review
