Public Observing FRIDAY Night

6/21/2019 8:15 PM

NOTE: We are trying something new this summer. If an Observing Night scheduled for FRIDAY night has to be Cancelled due to weather, we will try again on Saturday if the weather improves. CHECK the Astrotulsa.com Website on Saturday afternoon to see if the observing grounds will be open.

Everyone is invited to join us at our observatory for the opportunity to look through different types of telescopes and enjoy a variety of celestial objects. There will be members available to provide guidance from basic constellation spotting to all aspects of the universe. Our observatory features a 14 inch telescope and a classroom. We also have about 1 acre of open ground for setting up your own equipment. A donation of $ 2.00 per person is appreciated. Families are welcome but children MUST be supervised.

For the safety and enjoyment of everyone, please review
 Star Party Etiquette

The site is only open to the public at club star parties and other scheduled events. If you would like to visit at other times, please contact our   Group Director.

Due to our remote location it is not advised for observers to go alone.
