Special Events Astronomy Club Meeting - Friday March 7 7:00 
Join us Friday March 7 as amateur astronomer Liam Yanulis presents X-Ray Astronomy: Taking a Picture with Bullets. Liam will be speaking in person about his research and the challenges of observational X-ray astronomy, investigating how more exotic wavelengths of light change how astronomers see the night sky.
Saturday Mar 8 - 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM Telescope 101 Workshop Do you have a telescope and need help understanding how to use it better? Register for a 30 minute session with an experienced astronomy club member to guide you through the basics of setting up your telescope and began observing.
Saturday Evening Mar 8 - 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Public Astronomy Telescope Viewing Night Come join us at Case Community Center in Sand Springs for an evening of stargazing. See details in the Event Section.
February Evening Planet "Parade" 
Social Media has been "A Buzz" about a planet "alignment." During February four naked eye planets are all visible in the evening sky. They are spread across a long arc from SW to East. You don’t need dark sky or special instruments to see Saturn, Venus, Jupiter and Mars. They will be visible any clear night until late February but will shift further toward the west as the month progresses.
